The McAdam Outreach Program offers a wide range of services delivered by caring, professional and compassionate Personal Care Aides and other professionals within the greater McAdam area. Financial assistance for this service may be available through the Department of Social Services or other Government Agencies. Personal Care: Includes personal care services such as bathing and grooming.
Homemaking: Includes housekeeping services such as bed making, dusting, cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
Companion Services: The provision of companionship to individuals for such things as going for walks, visiting, reading a book, or sharing a hobby.
Accompanied Visits: Assistance and/or transportation of individuals to doctor's appointments, community events, shopping, etc.
Caregiver Relief: The provision of relief care/respite for family caregivers while they manage other responsibilities or take vacations.
Foot Care Clinic: The clinic is provided by a professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to seniors with special needs every 5-6 weeks.
Meals on Wheels: The delivery of nutritious, well balanced, full-course meals Monday to Friday. Those with special nutritional or dietary needs are accommodated.
Lifeline: This service includes the installation and 24/7 monitoring of the client, which guarantees an emergency response in time of need.
Specialized Equipment: Specialized Red Cross equipment is loaned at no cost to individuals to assist them in mobility and everyday activities after surgery, a fall injury, or other medical conditions.
